From Michael Lee Author, "How to be a Red Hot Persuasion Wizard" "The House of Annon" is terrific. While I was reading it, I was engulfed in a sea of dreams and beyond. It also made me realize the inner strength that we have within us. It's a mesmerizing world of discovery and mystery, and I felt like I was in a different dimension. Really fascinating! I love it.
Reader's comments! "It seemed that if I hadn't read two chapters per day I would feel as though I had lost a friend. I just wanted you to know that I *loved* your story. I loved the intrigue and I loved all the wonderful things that happened to the characters. You have a special way with words, and the story was so inspiring." Robyne Clark (Australia) ___________________________________________________________ "I got to your book just after nine and finished chapter one. I have never read more professional writing. Your impressions of people have been fine-tuned in your travel years, I'm sure." F. Robinson ___________________________________________________________
At each session they talk about the amazing changes in their lives, face obstacles, and overcome set-backs. They are at The House of Annon to learn how to change their lives. Annon is their guide, helping them and at the same time searching for the one who will replace him, guiding others to change their lives. He studies each one, wondering who it will be; one of these, or is there another to come?
"I was riveted ... I love it. Simply love it to peices. :) I had some time tonight so I read the entire thing. I'm very intrigued by the human mind, obviously because I'm a coach and I find, although I'm VERY not at the main character, Annon's place it's where I see myself going with what I do for others. I identify with this book as well because I can see things in people all the time. Things they don't see in themselves. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's a movement or a gesture or a comment that comes up over and over again, a look; mannerism pick one. I've always been able to see it. So, I have to tell you I really enjoyed it ... It struck numerous nerves for me in my own life over and over through out. Watching them in their session; your descriptions are great. . ." Sue Tosto
From Session One "Sages and philosophers throughout history have known about a Power that controls all that is. Many of them have written about it." Annon pauses briefly, capturing their interest. "As I have already stated, the purpose of these Gatherings is to acquaint you with that Power. It is the Power of the universe, and once you are in tune with it, you will change your lives."
A Writer's Comment "I am very impressed with her writing. She is the author of A HOUSE OF ANNON. Her stories seem to come directly from the heart. Her style is simple and articulate; seems as though she is having a live conversation with the reader..." By X Herman From Africa, With Love A book review: One is honored, and awed, when entering the House of Annon. Wonder spawns images of royalty somewhere in the background of this man and his surroundings, which blend as one. Feeling comfortable and welcome . . . opens the senses to the richness of this experience. Guided interaction with diverse people is the hallmark of hospitality in the House of Annon. The answers to dormant questions, usually surpressed, wells up from within. There is no applied pressure. In the House of Annon one learns to know ones' self and a kinship with others, including Annon. Welcome, Reader --- to the House of Annon, a residence in Shan-gri-la. Bernice Gray; Freelance writer
From Session Nine "You don't understand a damned thing," Tony interrupts, speaking through clenched teeth. "You lied to all of us. There's no power! It's a bunch of crap and you know it." Anger glares from Tony's eyes as he snarls, "I can't figure out your angle. It's not like we're paying you any money or anything, so you're not in it for the cash." Moving directly in front of Annon, and looking down at him with smoldering eyes, his voice is choked. "What's in this for you, old man?" Suddenly he leans forward, slapping a hand on either side of Annon's chair, his eyes glaring with rage. "There's gotta be something in it for you." Anger fills his entire being as he rigidly leans forward, his face directly in front of Annon's, his hands clenching the chair arms. "What's in it for you old man?" |
