Yin Yoga is a style of yoga used to balance a more yang practice or activities like walking, running and cycling. Yin Yoga is a way to deepen your yoga practice and touch tissues rarely worked in a more active style of yoga. Yin Yoga targets the deeper connective tissues of the body: the ligaments and joints and prepares the body for sitting in meditation. Yin Yoga is gaining popularity as a way to balance and open all areas of the body.
