Hey Ya'll, I will be completely revamping my music web site very soon. Please bear with me!

agiftmolly'sdrawing.jpg

Happy New Year to Ya'll!

What a wild and silly night Saturday was. What can I say? The good, the bad and the downright ridiculous... Sound/equipment mishaps, the set list going out the window in favor of a "wing-it" cover tune list, a new drummer (Mike you did terrific!) and of course "Becky, Denim Sky's new air guitarist"!

Thanks to Boulders, View, Spencer and any of you who came out!

Hello friends,

First and foremost, it has been a loooonnnggg time since I last updated my web site. My apologies. I have been pretty much musically inactive for a while. I have been busy with the other important things in my life...ie...Soccer coach, hockey dad, automobile builder...etc. So music has been on the back burner sort of speak. I have been writing and working towards a new release sometime in 2006 (yes I know it was supposed to be 2005).

Thanks to all you crazy folks who showed up for the private Halloween bash. Two full sets of Denim Sky...what a hoot! Yes thats me (above) as a sort of Lucifer figure, Steve Haack as Slash and Rob..hmm...well...some sort of grim reaper I guess.

I'm happy to announce that I will be doing something I have actually never done before... A show on New Years Eve! My band Denim Sky will be sharing the bill with View and Spencer Michaud. Only a $5 cover for the night. Mike Barton will be sitting in as our guest drummer that eve as Rob Jankowski is out of town. We welcome Mike and look forward to him rockin out with us!

Thank you very much too everyone who came out for the Internet Cafe show here in Canton. I had a great time. A very cool place to play. Keep an eye out for some new shows to be added soon on the Shows page.

7-30-05

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the Little Dublin show. I've never broken a string playing an acoustic show before...and at the end of the first song no less!!! The show turned out to be really fun however. For some reason it seemed like the right time to pull out a cover of my former band mate Keith Kisers "Spiritual Journey". It was such a "summery" evening and last week I had spent three days up north so...hense the inclusion....Oh yea, I must appologize to the guys in View for my rather interesting version of "The One I love". Yikes...but very fun!

Thanks to all who came out to the February Gingers coffee shop show. I had a great time! Special thanks to Rob and Andy.

The final Monday night acoustic show at the Tap room in Ypsilanti was fun too. I was truly honored to be playing with the talented songwriters/singers who participated.

I will be taking the month of March off for some personal issues but I already have shows booked for April and May.

As always thanks for the support.

1-8-04

A new upcoming show is listed on the shows/set list page. Feb. 21st at Gingers coffee connection in Plymouth!!!

12-31-03

Happy New Years to all!!!

Wow! What a great year! Thank you to all who came out for any of the shows that I did or was involved in. Some very special shows indeed. As I roared past the 40 barrier this year I can only appreciate the opportunities that I've been blessed with to continue to play my music for people.

I sounds so corney, but it's true. I know when I was 21 I couldn't imagine still rocking out at the age I am now. But, here I am. For better or worse. Still writing and recording new music.

Speaking of recording. Yes, there will definently be a new S.M. cd in 2004. Also, if all goes well I'm looking forward to stashing the acoustic from time to time and rocking out a bit more!

2003 was wonderful...From having Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens play in my own home to jamming with the legendary Jack Scott to doing my own shows all year supporting "My Favorite Martin's...I couldn't ask for more!

Have a safe and enjoyable New Years celabration.

S.M.

12-14-03
Thanks for coming out to the Gingers show on Saturday! What a hoot! It was great to play with Andy and Rob again. Who says you can't rock out at a Coffee Shop!!! The three of us are excited to do it again in January!

12-11-03:
You never know where your songs will wind up...and to keep a long story short, 89.3 WBLD (west bloomfield HS) is currently playing 2 of my songs on their station! "Everything and "Mr Greenlee". The station doesn't come in great here in Canton, but in the Novi/Northville area and north it comes in just fine.

Be sure to let me know what you hear and I'll add it to this page!
