Private Show in Dexter

Scott
You are the Man!!!!

Everyone is still buzzing over your preformance and have asked if
you'll be back in 05. We had a great time. The neighbors are all asking
"Where did you find this guy?, He was great!" Of course I tell them "Who
Scott?, Oh yeah, we go back a long way". Just kidding.

I'll make a point to stay in touch with you over the course of the year
so we can do some planning.

Thanks a lot for making our party a special day for everyone. There is
always something better about hearing it live from someone who has the
"real feel" than doing the o'l DJ thing.

Stay in touch and keep the edge!

Review of WBLD set.

Accompanied only by his trusty guitar and harmonica, Scott performed an intimate set of music from his album "My Favorite Martins". Highlights of his show included a cool rendition of Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll" as well as his set closer, David Bowie's "Space Oddity". Scott was well liked by everyone and gave a heartfelt, personal performance. he was also nice enough to lend us his sound system for much of the show. Thanks Scott!

Dear Scott,

I was one of the lucky ones to see your wonderful show this past Saturday night. Of course I thought you played and sang very well. It seems to be more of a musical statement to hear the guitar and lyrics delivered firsthand and stripped of all the amplification and sound effects you get in a typical bar type of setting. To put it simply, the music is forced to stand on it's own two feet. And it does.

But to get to my question. I have heard rumors on the radio and in several chat rooms about your upcomming surgery(s). I am very concerned to say the least. One room sugested that your vocal cords were very strained and that corrective measures were needed to allow you to continue singing. Yet another said that after the show you badly cut your right hand on a beer bottle Saturday night after the show.

I don't know if any of this is true or if you read into any of your own rumors or even care but I was just curious to know what type of surgery are you going to have in the near future if any and if it could affect your playing music.

If this is too personal a question I guess I would understand.

Thanks for reading this and I hope you get better soon.
your fan forever,
Mattie

Mattie,
Your concern is appreciated. First of all the rumors are a bit exaggerated. Yes, surgery is in order. I might have to take a month off playing but trust me, it is not that big of a deal. And no...I'm not getting a breast reduction or a nose job....lol. Oh yea...and I know better than to cut myself on a beer bottle, I'm way too experienced in the area of bar room safety.

PAT DINIZIO TESTIMONIALS
from last january....

Scott,
That was an awesome time on sat. What a great way to see someone live. I chatted with him (pat) for a bit and damm what a nice guy. He seemed very down to earth. He doesn't sound anything like the way he sings(but you don't either) I've always found that a little bizarre. Behind the Wall & Blues Before were very cool. and when you guys did Blood and Roses wow! You could see how much fun you were having. Thanks again for inviting us Mark

Who's next at the Martin Hall
