| | This page is a work in progress. Below you will see some of the work students have done. We will be adding new photos as time goes on so check back to see what's new! Presently we are teaching "Mosaic and Tile" on Monday nights from 6-9 pm. In the summer the hours expand slightly as daytimes are available by appointment. The sign up fee for instruction and supplies is 75$ due the first day of class. The classes are 15$ per session for six weeks. Additional studio time is at a rate of 5$ per studio hour. In our Mosaic and Tile classes we go through a process: rolling out clay, cutting, making, texturing and glazing of tile, proper substrates and adhesives, and finally mounting and grouting. Our fully equipped studio resides in Sunbury at this time and studio visits are by appointment. Classes are limited in size to no more than six. The keeps the atmosphere relaxed and casual. | | Mosaics can be made with a variety of items ranging from ceramic to glass to stone. In our studio we work mostly in ceramic. Although other items are often incorporated into the design, being able to create ones own tiles makes each student's piece completely original.

Above: I went on location with my assistant to the Arts Academy in Delaware to show the teens there how to mosaic. They created this design, and effectively worked together to create this beautiful sunface mosaic.
