THE DEVILS FINAL BATTLE Analysis of the book April-June, 2003 INTRODUCTION To quote from the book (p255) "It is better that scandal arise than that the truth be suppressed." WHAT IS GOING ON? There is a conspiracy in the works. It has been going on for a half a century, give or take a few years. It began with an amazing event, published in many reputable newspapers at the time. There were eyewitnesses, evidence was corroborated by people with impeccable credentials. While, first acknowledged by the highest authorities, over time those authorities changed their tune, their opinions. Did they have something to hide? Yes, they did.. There was an amazing secret, and they knew what it was. They held the means for all to know the truth. And they refused to disclose what they knew. Those in the upper hierarchy were sworn to secrecy. How could they do this with world peace at stake? We knew they were withholding something because their explanations and stories started changing. They started contradicting one another from within even their own circle of trust. Finally, decades after they should have, under intense public pressure, they revealed the secret. Yet, it didnt ring true. It seemed very edited, very incomplete. The immediate reaction of many was is that all there is? But, the highest powers insisted it was. They still werent giving in. Why not? Was something or someone holding them back? Were they just trying to save their own necks, or just trying to avoid great embarrassment? Were they protecting us, the innocent public? Is their silence in any way related to the millions of dollars of business generated as a result of this event every year? Or....was something more sinister going on? Something very, very dark. The truth is out there and those who have taken the care to put together all of the pieces know what it is. Yes, the truth is out there--and we all know what it is: Yes, they did land here! Who, you ask? Well, the aliens, of course! Those that crashed in 1947 at Roswell, that our own government immediately took and hid away in their secret laboratories--despite the possible threat to our entire world--and refused to tell us about until the X-Files embarrassed them into giving us all a few bones to chew on. What did you think I was talking about? Fatima? WHY I AM WRITING THIS I dont mean to offend anyone. I decided to write the above paragraph in order to illustrate that conspiracies have certain facets in common. Of course, there are some very significant differences between Fatima and Roswell, with one of the most obvious being the number of eye-witnesses to the event. However, there are also some very interesting similarities that one can learn from if one desires to. Even if one doesnt believe that the Roswell conspiracy is in fact bogus, as I have concluded after some research, certain truths can be discovered from reviewing the facts surrounding that theory: 1. People looking at the same things report seeing different things 2. Memory is often faulty, especially as years go by, as false memories tend to be incorporated over time 3. Opinions change over time 4. People will lie to keep a conspiracy going, benefiting personally as a result 5. People in positions of high authority dont always know what is going on 6. People in authority can do a sloppy job of reporting incidents 7. The press doesnt always get the story right 8. People, even very intelligent, normal people, want to believe in extraordinary things My purpose here is to search for the truth about Fatima, and the conspiracy theory put forth in The Devils Final Battle. Its an extremely interesting story that affects millions of people worldwide, and in many cases, practically takes over their entire belief system. Warning that the annihilation of many nations is at stake, and believed by millions, I think this is a worthy theory to study. If my analysis leads me to agree with the theory, my own soul might be saved. If my analysis leads me to disagree, then I can rest assured that any annihilation wont have anything to do with Fatima. In any case, I hope to achieve a certain amount of peace from discovering for myself the truth. For me, the truth does set me free. Even if the result isnt what I might wish to find. Just knowing, for me, is comforting and empowering, as it helps give me a perspective on life that adds to the hope that life can make some sense, even if not everything can be understood. I, like most all of us, desire meaning in life. Truth helps bring meaning to me. If I can help others find that same truth, then perhaps that adds even more meaning. Yet, I dont wish to offend or to hurt anyones faith. For that reason, if anyone feels threatened by a critical analysis of this book, or if upholding your faith is more important than seeking the truth, I suggest that you not read what I write here. I suggest reading it if you are looking for the truth, first and foremost. That being said, I add the following disclaimer: I do not claim to be any kind of expert on Fatima. Much of what I write are my opinions based on my best attempt to be logical, as well as some additional research. I will make errors. I may be too lenient, or too skeptical in places. I may miss the obvious. Or, I may push an idea that is, in fact, very unlikely. I welcome comments from all, but please keep in mind that I am just doing the best I can. I do quote others on occasion, and attempt to give proper credit. If I error in doing so, I apologize. Im just seeking the truth, and to share it with others with a similar goal. Feel free to read on: MY APPROACH: On page 226, the book claims to have proven 17 claims. I have decided to review each of these assertions within the appropriate main categories of the theory (to be explained in the next section), to see whether the evidence presented is strong enough to be considered reasonable proof for the claims or not. My approach, in general, will be as follows: 1. present their claim 2. present their evidence 3. present my critique of their evidence 4. present additional evidence or alternative explanations not included in this book 5. present my conclusions
