There are two types of rabbit shows, cooped and carrying case shows. In cooped shows, there are cages for you to put your rabbits in. These are normally shows that are several days long, like the ARBA convention or fair shows. I have some photos of our fair show where the rabbits stay ten days. Look for Tennessee Valley A & I Fair. Most shows are carrying case shows. These shows are only one or sometimes two days long. The rabbit stays in their carrying cases except when you get them out for grooming or to take to the judging table. The picture is from a carrying case show in Lebanon Tennessee, the Music City Rabbit Breeders Association Show, September 1, 2001. Judge Ray Hall from Missouri looks on as Josh Humphries from Tennessee examines an Angora. Josh is a Registrar working on his judges license. Rabbit Judges are licensed by the ARBA. To get to be a judge, you have to pass both a written test and work with several ARBA judges and prove your knowledge and ability to handle rabbits. |
