79strat.jpg

My first electric guitar, which my dad purchased new in 1979 for me after I'd been teaching myself to play on an acoustic guitar for a while. It's a 1979 Fender 25th Anniversary Stratocaster. It's all original.

esp.jpg

An ESP Custom guitar. This originally had ESP pickups in it. They didn't sound real great so now it has Duncan Li'l 59's in the neck and middle position and a Dimarzio Tone Zone S at the bridge. The switch on the front is a series/parallel switch for the pickups. In parallel, the pickups give a more single coil type sound, but without hum. Wired in series, they sound like full sized humbuckers. It's very versatile, lots of fun to play, and gets a lot of use at cover band gigs.

Medley.jpg

This is a 92 Robin Medley. It has Seymour Duncan Hot Stack singles in the neck & middle positions and I replaced the Custom at the bridge with a JB. The Custom was too dark sounding in this guitar.
