Here you will find photos of our friends having a ball on this Sunday afternoon. This is how to promote our sport and I hope those of you seeing these pictures enjoy them as much as we did experiencing them. I would like to thank Rich from PA and who is here on a temporary assignment, Greg from Parkville Jeeps, Tom/Pat and their son Ryan, Mark and Elizabeth our newest member, for attending this unscheduled event. We did the run some of the trails, fell into mud pits and got stuck in them at times, yes, even I got stuck after telling everyone to ride the high ground, I slid right into the mud on all four tires. I was stuck! The nice big Thornbird tires just did not want to co-operate with me. There are some pits that only skill driving will let you maneuver through it or is winching time. Joining us a little later was Chris and then Adams. By then we had been playing for hours and we where dressed in mud (the Jeeps that is). It was a great day, sunny, hot and muddy. I was very grateful to have a winch, it help everyone out of many situations. We challenged the steep hill that we have been told we could not go down on or drive up it. This hill was the final event, a perfect way to end our day. Rich took on the challenge first and everyone follow him successfully. But not before he got stuck in a nice mud pit and needless to say ended getting winched out. These are just some of over 100 pictures taken this afternoon. Enjoy them in the spirit they where taken. The next time you see a muddy Jeep, you know they where having lots of fun. |
