JUNE 20th, 2004

Est 3/1/2004

Here we look like we are ready for what looks like a bad Korean movie. Online and ready for actions while the bikers are in the background wondering what the heck is going on.

The day was awesome! We met at 10 AM at the Exxon Gas station. Attending this session was: Mike Glazer, Clarke Jensen, Chris Gray, Mark Donnelly, Chris Wiesner, Greg Jones, Tim Rice, Sam Katkowsky, Adam Britton, Mike Slater and I (Tico). We also had a few guess running as passenger. Tim's son, Chris W's wife and 5 month old son. We had a blast! There where some hairy moments at the dirt dunes, but everyone had a great time. Chris Wiesner a new member couldn't wait to put his new Rubicon through the trails, mud and all. Mike Slater has not been with us for a while and recovering from a knee surgery that has kept him away for a while, couldn't take it no more, his fathers day present was to wheel all day with his Rubicon too. Let me tell you, for the few trails we do have, we made it a hell of a days. We travel both ways through the trails and began on the third attempt. However, by then Tim's Jeep broke down and he couldn't get it running again and ended up getting a new starter, then he was back to running. But wait, at that very moment when Tim got his going, Mark lost a alternator belt. Fortunately, he had enough juice to make it to the Auto Zone to fix it. I am glad that is all that occur, which goes to show you don't have to act crazy on the off-roads to have fun!

What a fathers day present; running all day through the woods all day, mud caked in and around the Jeeps that probably would take days, if not weeks to remove from, a sunny day..It was perfect! I hope those of you who are fathers had a good time too.

Here I am showing the new guys how to zig zag through the dirt dunes.

Oh yea! This is getting them down and dirty. First trail, through the mush, swampy water. Be careful, it is deep.

Above and below; this was a nice little tight trial with interesting elements. The picture looks great, coming out of the pit.

These are all the pictures I have from that day. If you took some and would like to share them, send them to me by E-mail. Be in the lookout for our Next trip!

Here Mike Slater is getting strapped! O yea, a Rubicon getting pulled back because he got his skit plate stuck. But he regain composure and can do attitude through the rest of the trail.

Below you have Chris Gray doing the strapping!

Above; Mike Glazer, who's been working to much and not playing enough.

Below; Mark Donnelly and Chris Weisner crossing the mud patch. You wouldnt believe it, but all our vehicles where nice and clean, detail and even some of us had wax them. That lasted less than 5 minutes once we where there.

Above you have Sam talking to Chris Wiesner a fellow Rubicon owner. Chris first time out since he purchased his Jeep, was a very happy camper!

It may not look to steep, but let me assure you, when you are behind the wheel, it looks a whole lot different. Chilling or hanging out.

Mark exiting the woods and a steep decent.
