The Luxury Drive is based on simplicity, durability, and most of all tone. Without tone, what else is there.
The Luxury Drive is not a typical Overdrive. In fact, it offers very little grit of its own. Instead, the Luxury Drive was designed to serve as a boost to drive your Overdrive / Distortion pedals, and your amp harder. With the level control set to the lowest setting, there is a slight boost in the output signal. Turning the level control to the highest setting yields an increase in signal to pummel your effects rig or amp. Note: At high level settings, noise from pickups, cables, and other effects will also be boosted with the signal from the Luxury Drive.
The Luxury Drive is designed to boost your signal, and retain the tonal characteristics of the guitar / amp / fx you already have. The increase in signal from the Luxury Drive offers an added edge of treble-licious tone, with a slight bit of touch sensitive compression that won't fail in the low end.

 The Luxury Drive Mdl-T (pictured below) has all the features of the Luxury Drive with the exception of the added TRIM control. The trim control allows you to adjust the level of boost you want from the Luxury Drive. This feature was added for those of you who wanted to use the Luxury Drive purely as a volume boost in the effects loop of an amp.  The Luxury Twin-Rate Tremolo
This is not your average tremolo. The Luxury Twin-Rate Tremolo is a true bypass, foot switching dual speed tremolo. There are two independent rate controls that the user can select. This enables both a slow and fast speed setting from one unit. Each speed control has its own individual range, with the second being capable of faster rates than the first when set to the highest settings. There is also a rate indicator LED for a visual representation of the selected rate setting. A green LED indicates when the second rate control is active. A volume control allows the user to adjust the volume of the effect. No drop in volume here like so many amp tremolos. A depth control lets the user adjust from subtle to deep tremolo effects. And, best of all, it does not alter your tone!

The DGTM is not your typical Overdrive. CONTROLS
GRISTLE: Use this control to dial in the amount tasty saturation desired.
TONE: Adjust the edges of your tone from smooth to crispy here.

When my old college pal Tim Jauernig approached me a year ago with his pedal the Luxury Drive, I took it, and gave it "what for" with the new Fender '59 Bassman and it sounded absolutely butane as it gave a clean boost that magnified the tone ten-fold from it's already succulent,
sonic, starting point. When Tim told me he had an overdrive pedal that would want to make me melt my Tube Screamer into some kind of marital aid in comparison, I responded with a pathetic, contemporary maxim used
by the legions of perplexed miscreants feigning emboldenment..... "bring it on." This pedal is the Diabolical Gristle Tone Manipulator. I was tickled pink that Tim should dedicate a pedal to me and used my
twisted speak to describe it's attributes and controls. Especially as this pedal leaves all other overdrives I have ever used in the dust. GIRTH, smooth girth, Phat City, if you will, is achieved even at lower volumes where other pedals sound like "ass". It functions like a Tube
Screamer in terms of controls but is so much more creamy and non-abrasive sounding. The toggle switch on the pedal either gives you a standard vintage-type overdrive ala the Tube Screamer or a more higher gain overdrive (for the kids). This thing in front of any old Fender amp or vintage reissue will rule beyond words. Goodbye Tube
Screamer, goodbye Fulldrive II, you were delish but now you're through, the DGTM is in town.

The Atomic FET-Boy is designed to boost your signal, of the guitar / amp / fx you already have, and give you one more element to shape the tone of your arsenal.

CONTROLS
LEVEL: The Level control is as the label implies. Adjust the fortitude of the Atomic FET-Boy to your liking.
TONE: The tone control of the Atomic FET-Boy is slightly different from other tone controls you may be familiar with. The brightest setting is with the tone control set to the lowest setting. Turning up the tone control rolls off a bit of the highs, and introduces the lower extremities of the tonal spectrum.
SHIFT: With this switch in the downward position, the tone control is of standard operation as described above. Place this switch in the upward position to introduce more gain and girth to your tone.
The Atomic FET-Boy can be powered by a 9 volt battery, or 9VDC power supply. The external DC power jack disconnects the battery when a power supply is plugged into it to preserve battery life.
Try the Atomic FET-Boy in front of your favorite Overdrive or Distortion pedal for a some nuclear boost to your signal. Or, just use it in front of your amp, and bring on sonic deliverance!
