| My views Class hoops -- On the fence...I can sympathize with the small schools' plight, but the winner-take-all tourney was second to none.
Best NBA player ever -- Michael Jordan. He could do it all.
Best NBA player current -- Kobe Bryant. Just incredible to watch.
Best NFL player ever -- Johnny Unitas. Like Jordan, he could do it all.
Best NFL player current -- Is it too late to bring Sanders back? I love watching Brett Favre compete, so he gets the nod.
Best MLB player ever -- Babe Ruth. Hands down, the best ever. From pitching to hitting, he was a one-man army. Statistically, who knows what kind of numbers he'd put up in today's juiced-ball era.
Best MLB player current -- Barry Bonds. No player is feared more than BB.
Best athlete ever -- Jim Thorpe. Now this guy could REALLY do it all. Probably the most under-rated athlete of all time. The only guy even close might be Bo Jackson, and he's light years behind Thorpe.
Favorite movies -- Hoosiers, Primal Fear, any crossover movie of John Grisham's and any movie starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris or Ashley Judd.
Favorite sports movie -- Hoosiers. Simply the best. Great story, excellent plot, Gene Hackman, Dennis Hopper...need I say more?
Best gymnasium (that I've been to) -- When it comes to atmosphere, home-court advantage, etc., I can't think of a better place to see a game than Scottsburg's Charles E. Meyer Gymnasium. The only thing that they could improve on is parking. A close second is Seymour.
Gym I want most to see -- Cameron Indoor Arena for a Tobacco Road Matchup between the Dookies and UNC. Or the Dookies versus ANYONE.
Favorite golf course -- Caesars' Chariot Run in Elizabeth. This one's gorgeous.
Favorite places to eat -- Hooters (it's REALLY about the 3-mile Island wingies), BW3's, El Napolito's and Tumbleweed. |

| My name is Alan. I'm 32, married to a beautiful and wonderful wife, Alecia, and have a baby daughter, Marcie. We reside in Corydon, Indiana, which is a small, but growing, rural town 35 miles west of Louisville, Kentucky.
Among the things I like to do are watch and photograph high school, college and pro sports, play golf, visit old gyms, follow the Atlanta Braves and Michigan Wolverines, root on the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers and cheer on Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Ryan Newman in NASCAR. I also enjoy listening to all kinds of music, playing Warheads SE on the internet and getting my butt kicked in chess.
My family and I attend Lincoln Hills Christian Church and are under the agreement that GOD IS GOOD!
