Martha Ann LANCASTER CODDINGTON, 89, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1948 in
Morgantown at the home of her daughter Mrs Clara GROALL. Her death was
attributed to natural causes.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Louise LANCASTER of
Frostburg, where she was born, She was preceded in death by her husband the late
Melville CODDINGTON of Mill Run, Md., and two daughters, Maude and Dishie.
Surviving are three sons, Maurice, Addison, Pa., Milton, Rockwood, Pa., and
John Edward of Morgantown, three daughters, Mrs Goldie PARNELL, Ohiopyle,
Pa., Mrs Clara GROALL, Morgantown, and Mrs Ada GARLETTS of
Friendsville, 75 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren .
Mrs CODDINGTON was well known in the Friendsville section having lived in
the Mill Run vicinty after her marriage. She was a member of the Mill Run Church
where she was an active worker until moving to Morgantown.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan 28, 1948 in Addison, Pa., with
interment in the cemetery there.

FRANCIS H. JONES

Francis H. Jones, 80, of 531 Allegheny Ave. Glassport died
yesterday at 7:30 A.M.
He was born In Martins Ferry, Ohio, on Jan. 17, 1873 and
came to Glassport 38 years ago, A retired carpenter, he was a member
of F.O.E. Aerie 1135 of Glassport and was associated with the
Salvation Army.
Friends are being received at L.V. Dumas Funeral Home in Glassport,
where Captain
William Carlson services tomorrow at 2 P.M. Interment will be in the Elizabeth
Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Donaldson Jones, 3 sons, Leon and
Francis Jones, both of Glassport and Donald at home; 14 grandchildren and
10 great grandchildren and two brothers Alonzo of Finleyville and Wilford
of McKeesport.

Milton CODDINGTON, Age 62, died Friday, Dec 2, 1949, at his home in Rockwood,
Pa. Death was attributed to a heart condition.
Mr CODDINGTON was son of the late Mr and Mrs Melville CODDINGTON
of Gaurd, Md., where he was born and spent the early part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter, Elsie, a number of years
ago. Surviving are one son, Ross C. CODDINGTON of Greensburg, Pa., two
daughters, Mrs William STUART of Mansfield, Ohio, and Mrs Ross YOUNKIN,
of Somerset, Pa., a number of grandchildren and sisters and brothers, among them
being Mrs Philip GARETTS of Friendsville.
Funeral services were conducted at the Mills Funeral Home, Rockwood, Pa.,
by the Rev Hillis G. Berkey. Burial was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockwood.

Conrad Rephann
Conrad Rephann, 73, retired coal miner and farmer of Eckhart died early this morning at his home after a lingering illness.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Eckhart and member of the Methodist Church there.

He us survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine(Lancaster) Rephann, three sons, Edward,Frostburg; James and Leslie of Eckhart; three daughters, Mrs. Elwood Harden and Mrs. Joseph Cunningham, Eckhart; and Mrs. Eva Avery,
Bowling Green; three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Engle,
Clarysville, Mrs. Anna Porter and Mrs. Mollie Wolford, Eckhart; and three brothers, Frederick, Joseph, and Henry Rephann, all of Eckhart.
