Mission

My goal as a postpartum doula is to show the new mother that her own mothering instincts work. I do this by giving her the emotional, practical and informational support that she needs to allow her to focus on her relationship with her newborn. I teach her to trust herself to experiment intuitively and discover for heself how to read her baby's cues and invent her own peronal solutions without excess external information. Until this is accomplished a postpartum assures she need not be all alone.
