Everything, it fell apart
a broken arrow through my heart
i should have known back in the start
but i missed it, wanting your heart
what the hell? why did i miss?
when we did sit, when we did kiss
in the back, i heard the hiss
but ignored it and stayed like this...
when we watched the sky, you bled for me
you sealed your heart, eternally
i guess forever, falls to the sea
but i must accept your apology...
forever hurting in my mind...
i can't let you go, for i did bind...
but i gave it back, mayhaps too kind...
but to try again, to hit rewind...
i think i'd do things differently...
i think i'd call you to come to me...
i think i'd ask you in the city...
to pledge the love you had for me...
forget the passed, it's here no more...
it's over now, i can't ignore...
the you that loved me, ever more...
when ripples fade and close the door...
you've lied to me, and still you do...
i don't know why, what's left for you?
why still lie? you could be true...
and tell me what had changed with you...
i don't think it matters, i don't see how...
i don't know why, i see the now...
i still love you, some way, somehow...

He is alone,
Wings torn, lying in a pool of blood,
His black hair curled around his face like a forgotten halo,
Trying to forget the ache within his soul,
And bask within the life that had been brought to him,
So many years ago and he lies anxious to forget,
And bring rise to a new tomorrow.
He reaches out,
With his pale outstretched fingers,
Even though no help is near,
He fears,
That this time his efforts might be in vain,
That he might not walk away,
But lie in regret and anguish,
As deep as the blood that runs through his veins,
Never dying but never walking away.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder,
As he thinks and begins to ponder,
His desire to be again grows stronger,
As the time hes lay there grows ever longer,
His wings, blood stained, weigh him down,
With his fingers outstretched and worn,
His fingernails bloody and torn,
His will begins to waste away,
As his pain wont fade away.
Knowing, he is never to be found,
Tears slide down and embrace his bloodied face,
Clearing a path between his pain and sorrow,
He remembers the good times he once shared,
He knows it shouldn't have ended like this,
He looks to the sky and seeks solace,
Embittered, alone and torn.

Times are changing,
And so am I,
I'm getting older,
By the day,
I begin to wonder,
About my future,
Everything looks different,
And I wonder,
Is change good?
Or misunderstood?
Is it a battle?
Or something I should look to change,
Should I even be asking?
All I can say that there's one thing,
I see will never change,

But no matter what,
